SHE LOVES ME, set  in a shop in 1930s Budapest, is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence.  Two shop clerks constantly at odds with each other are unaware that each is the other’s romantic pen pal from a lonely hearts ad. She Loves Me is an adaption of a play by Miklós László. Others include the  Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan film, The Shop Around the Corner; the Van Johnson and Judy Garland film, In the Good Old Summertime; and the popular 1998 film starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan – You’ve Got Mail. With book by Joe Masteroff and music by the Fiddler on the Roof  team of Harnick and Bock, this gem has garnered a total of 21 Tony nominations – 5 in 1964, 9 in 1993, and 8 in 2016. Considered by many to be “the most charming musical ever written,” She Loves Me is the perfect way to re-discover your Christmas spirit.

Lindsay is excited to step into the booth as the Production Stage Manager for Brigadoon this fall at the Candlelight Theatre.

BRIGADOON, the classic beloved musical, is set in the Scottish highlands in a village that awakens once every hundred years. Premiering on Broadway in 1947 it was immortalized on film in 1954 starring Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse. With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe (My Fair Lady, Camelot), Brigadoon enchants with a beautiful score featuring “Almost Like Being in Love,” and enthralls with its combination of mystery, delightful characters and a love story that transcends time. With book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar and music/lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, Drowsy took Broadway by storm in 2006 winning 5 Tony Awards and 7 Drama Desk Awards including Best Show. Hailed by New York Magazine as “The Perfect Broadway Musical.”

FUNNY GIRL tells the story of Fanny Brice, one of the most celebrated entertainers of her time. With music and lyrics by Jules Styne and Bob Merrill and book by Isobel Lennart, Funny Girl delivers iconic Broadway songs such as “Don’t Rain on my Parade,” “ I’m the Greatest Star,” “The Music that Makes Me Dance,” and, of course, “People.” Nominated for 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Actress (Streisand), Funny Girl features one of the great female roles ever written for the musical stage. Starring the talented Tori Healy in the title role, Lindsay is thrilled to join the cast as Mrs. Meeker.

Lindsay is thrilled to return as the Host for Just Drag 13! Any guesses as to my character for this one?  I'll give you a clue- she's blonde,  only needs one name, and is  "Queen" in her own right.
