It’s Alive! (And it’s Hilarious!) From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers comes the monstrously mad musical, Young Frankenstein! Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") reluctantly inherits his infamous family’s estate in Transylvania. Urged on by a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself fulfilling his grandfather’s corpse-raising legacy. This electrifying musical stage adaptation of Mel Brooks' brilliantly funny film will leave you in stitches!

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, the high-flying musical comedy about chasing your dreams and not getting caught, is based on the film of the same name that starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. Follow the incredible true story of Frank Abagnale, Jr., a brilliant conman, as he reinvents himself in ever more outlandish personas while trying to stay one step ahead of FBI agent Carl Hanratty. Set in the Mad Men era with a swinging score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray) and a book by Terrence McNally (The Full Monty, Ragtime), Catch Me If You Can was nominated for four Tony Awards and six Drama Desk Awards.

A down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all “little old ladies”) out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show, hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction.
Lindsay could not be more excited to take on the role of Georgia in The Candlelight Theatre's spring production of CURTAINS. Don't miss this hilarious musical!
March 16-April 20, 2019
CURTAINS, a delightful blend of murder mystery and musical comedy, will leave you howling with laughter while trying to solve the crime. It’s opening night of a potential Broadway smash. The talent-free leading lady mysteriously dies during her curtain call and Lieutenant Frank Cioffi arrives on the scene to conduct an investigation. After an unexpected romance blooms for the stage-struck detective, he finds himself just as drawn toward making the show a hit as he is in solving the murder. Curtains features music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb (Cabaret and Chicago) and a book is by Rupert Holmes based on the original book and concept by Peter Stone.
Lindsay is thrilled to be back at Candlelight for her 11th holiday season show this year in the Ensemble of She Loves Me. Don't miss this rarely produced gem!
SHE LOVES ME, set in a shop in 1930s Budapest, is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence. Two shop clerks constantly at odds with each other are unaware that each is the other’s romantic pen pal from a lonely hearts ad. She Loves Me is an adaption of a play by Miklós László. Others include the Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan film, The Shop Around the Corner; the Van Johnson and Judy Garland film, In the Good Old Summertime; and the popular 1998 film starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan – You’ve Got Mail. With book by Joe Masteroff and music by the Fiddler on the Roof team of Harnick and Bock, this gem has garnered a total of 21 Tony nominations – 5 in 1964, 9 in 1993, and 8 in 2016. Considered by many to be “the most charming musical ever written,” She Loves Me is the perfect way to re-discover your Christmas spirit.
Lindsay is excited to step into the booth as the Production Stage Manager for Brigadoon this fall at the Candlelight Theatre.

With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe (My Fair Lady, Camelot), Brigadoon enchants with a beautiful score featuring “Almost Like Being in Love,” and enthralls with its combination of mystery, delightful characters and a love story that transcends time. You are sure to be captivated by your visit to Brigadoon.
